These Terms and Conditions ("T&C") govern your use of the platform and services provided by Captide, Inc. ("Captide," "we," or "us"). Captide offers a customizable and scalable equity research platform that automates the analysis of publicly listed companies. By accessing or using our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these T&C. If you do not agree with these T&C, you must discontinue use of the platform.
Captide, Inc. is a Delaware C-Corporation, registered and governed under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
The Captide platform is designed for use by institutional investors, professional equity analysts, and other financial professionals. There are no age restrictions, but by using the platform, you affirm that you are authorized and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction.
Captide provides users with the ability to design and execute custom workflows that extract data and insights from publicly available financial documents, such as SEC filings (e.g., 10-K, 10-Q). Our proprietary AI models process natural language prompts and deliver personalized analytical outputs. Users can save their workflows within the platform, and we plan to enable exporting and sharing functionalities in future updates.
Captide offers a 14-day free trial, after which users will be charged a flat subscription fee of $99 per month. Users may cancel their subscription at any time, but please note that payments for the current billing cycle are non-refundable. There are currently no alternative service tiers.
At present, users cannot upload or publicly share content, comments, or analysis on the platform. However, we welcome feedback and suggestions from users, which can be submitted via email at feedback@captide.co. We may introduce content-sharing features in the future, at which time appropriate guidelines will be issued.
The financial data used by Captide is sourced from publicly available SEC filings. While we strive to provide accurate, timely, and reliable data, we do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness. Captide is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or delays in the data. You acknowledge that reliance on the data or the outputs generated by our proprietary AI models is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Captide disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on the data and analysis provided. This includes, without limitation, any losses related to investments, financial transactions, or other decisions made based on information from the platform. You expressly agree that the use of the platform is at your sole risk.
Captide collects personal data such as email addresses and usage information for the purpose of improving the platform and providing support. In addition, certain third-party services may be integrated into the platform for analytics or functionality purposes, which may also collect user data. For more detailed information, please refer to our Privacy Policy. Captide does not sell or share personal data with third parties unless required by law or to enhance service delivery in compliance with applicable regulations.
Users are authorized to use the Captide platform for research and investment purposes. However, reselling or redistributing data directly obtained from the platform is strictly prohibited. Users may generate their own independent research based on Captide’s outputs and sell that research, but they are not permitted to act as data providers using Captide's technology or results.
Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with any applicable financial regulations, laws, or reporting requirements in their respective jurisdictions.
All proprietary content, including but not limited to algorithms, data visualizations, AI models, workflows, and any other tools provided by Captide, are the exclusive intellectual property of Captide, Inc. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform in accordance with these T&C. Any attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract Captide’s proprietary technology is strictly prohibited.
Captide reserves the right to terminate or suspend any user's account at its sole discretion, particularly in cases where the user is suspected of violating these T&C or engaging in unauthorized activities. Upon termination, Captide will retain user data for a period of two years, after which it will be permanently deleted unless required otherwise by law or upon specific user request.
These T&C are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, specifically the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these T&C or the use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration, to be conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. By agreeing to these T&C, you waive the right to pursue legal proceedings in court, except as otherwise provided by law.
Captide may integrate with third-party services or tools, including financial or data analysis platforms. While using these third-party integrations, users are subject to the terms and conditions, privacy policies, and other legal agreements specific to those third-party services. Captide is not responsible for the practices, terms, or operations of any third-party provider.
By providing your email address, you consent to receiving communications from Captide, including but not limited to product updates, newsletters, and promotional content. You may opt out of these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided within the email. Captide also communicates through official channels on LinkedIn and Twitter.
Captide is currently in an open beta phase. By using the platform during this period, you acknowledge that certain features may be under development, and the platform may contain bugs or experience interruptions. We appreciate feedback during this beta phase, which can be submitted via feedback@captide.co.
Captide reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue any features or services at its sole discretion. Users will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform following such modifications constitutes acceptance of the changes.
